Industrial use of the lakeside plot until 1998, construction of the Goldbach Center with 17,000 m² of office and sales space in 2000. The old building was put to a practical new use and besides a DIY and hobby centre, top-quality office space was also created. The most striking feature of the overall concept is certainly the distinctive and dominant office building, a new construction employing clearly structured architecture at the corner of Seestrasse and Goldbachstrasse. The hilltop floor plan is delicately modelled, open to the lake but compact on the side to the railway. The rooms can be used individually as open-plan, group or single offices according to need. The Goldbach Center is a fine example of a building that is perfectly suited for striking identification and first-class representation.
